QUALIFICATIONS
Obtained a degree in Accountancy & Finance from the University of Brighton in 1997.
Qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2000 and became a fellow in 2005.
Qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor in 2003.
Passed the Securities Institute Certificate in Corporate Finance in 2006.
Became authorised with the Financial Services Authority to carry out Corporate Finance work in 2006.
Awarded the Corporate Finance qualification by the Corporate Finance Faculty of the ICAEW in 2007.
BACKGROUND
Michael started work in a three partner firm of accountant´s in Finchley after University, until joining Haslers in November 1998.
Michael started life at Haslers in the Business Services Group until he qualified in 2000, at which point he moved into the Corporate Finance Department as an executive and subsequently become a manager. Michael was then appointed as a partner in January 2007.
EXPERIENCE
Whilst in the BSG department Michael had experience with a wide range of clients, especially in the property sector and often researched more complex accounting financial reporting requirements.
Michael has experience of coming up with deal structures for more complex Corporate Finance transactions.
Michael has led a number of transactions in the normal Corporate Finance fields, which includes MBO´s, Sales, Acquisitions, Fundraising and Due Diligence.
Michael has also supported other Partners in the firm where they have acted as lead advisory.
