Qualified with the Institute of Taxation in 1990.
Qualified with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 1995 and advanced to Fellowship in 2002.
Achieved Non-Audit Practicing Certificate in 1997.
BACKGROUND
Worked and trained in the Tax Department of BDO Stoy Hayward head office between 1986 and 1990.
Joined Haslers tax department in 1990 and was made a Partner in 1997.
EXPERIENCE
Responsible for the day-to-day running of the Tax Department to ensure client compliance issues are kept up to date.
Jon heads up Haslers Tax Investigations unit and has dealt with many Inland Revenue Special Civil Investigation Office (formally Special Compliance Office) including those carried out under caution.
Lectures regularly on numerous tax related topics including self assessment regulations and tax planning.
Represents clients at General Commissioners Hearings in different areas of taxation including associated companies and subcontractor issues.
