QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2002 and became a fellow in 2007.
Passed the Securities Institute Certificate in Corporate Finance in 2008.
Passed the ICEAW Corporate Finance Faculty promoted qualification, CFQ, at Diploma Stage in 2008, and will be sitting the Advanced Diploma Stage in 2010.
BACKGROUND
Commenced employment in the Retail and Insurance sectors working within various financial departments.
In 1996 joined a three partner firm of accountants and commenced training as an ACCA Accountant moving to Haslers in 1998 to complete his training in 1998.
Paul remained in Haslers Business Services Group until he qualified in 2002 shortly after which his skills were enhanced by a transition into the Corporate Finance department of the firm as an executive. Paul was appointed as a Manager of the Department in January 2009.
EXPERIENCE
Whilst in the BSG department. Paul gained a wealth of experience from the interaction with the larger Haslers clients, which covered a broad spectrum of industries and sectors.
Paul has experience in a broad range of Corporate Finance activities, with a large exposure to the recruitment industry, assisting in a number of disposals in the sector over the years.
Paul has led a number of general corporate finance activities, including fundraising, shareholders agreements, valuations and financial modelling and assists lead partners in aspects of deal structure and negotiation and generally with the processing of transactions from inception to completion board room for Disposals, Acquisitions and Management Buy-Outs.
